Ba, Humbug Merry Christmas one and all, with best wishes for a happy, healthy and a financially secure New Year, oh and a little bit of good luck
Merry Christmas one and all, good health for next year and the lads keep producing the goods on the pitch. Good times to be a lads fan indeed.
Happy Christmas to everyone, it's a special time of year. Open your heart and let a little magic in. Very best wishes to you all
Wishing everyone and their families a very Merry Christmas, hope you all have a wonderful time. For me, I'm being greedy and having two Christmases this year. Got our two sons and their wife/girlfriend, and the daughters boyfriend coming up tomorrow. My daughter is at work 8 till 8 Christmas Day, so said I'd do another dinner on Boxing Day for her, but now everyone is coming again on Boxing Day. Gonna be a busy lad, but it's worth it. To each and every one of you....
Merry Christmas everyone, wishing you all a healthy and prosperous new year. Enjoy these times being a Sunderland fan, as the football is light years better than it was in the last few years of Short.
Happy Christmas everyone. With 3 kids I do enjoy Christmas day but it's over in a flash. Very excited for the Boxing day footy! All the very best to you and your families.
Joking aside mate. An extra special wish to anyone suffering from bereavement, illness, be it mental or physical health, or lack of money through poor pay or unemployment etc. Or even struggling to balance work/life. I put my notice in to come off nights and start back on mornings and afternoons in the new year. Long story but I even got the move I wanted to another section. Nights and other issues at work have taken their toll on me. Mentally and physically. I had more extensive blood results yesterday and I'm fine apart from slight fatty liver from fatty beer belly I finished 14th for Christmas and I've had the best sleep the last couple of nights in years. I feel much better and hopefully it carries on and improves. It was certainly affecting my moods and relationship etc. Even just knowing I'm coming off nights and moving sections improved my mood and wellbeing immensely. Light at the end of the tunnel I suppose. There's obviously downsides to mornings afternoons but the upsides far outweigh them imo. I couldn't care less about losing money, health and happiness are far more important. I even bought Christmas cards this year and went and delivered them Sounds nothing but you wouldn't believe how anxious and worked up I'd get each Christmas resulting in nothing but depression. Hope you get sorted mate. Maybe look at things that you can change in a small way at least to suit you. I'm determined to cut down the booze new year, eat healthier, I've already mostly give up chocolate and crisps etc, (not over xmas though) and exercise. Good luck mate and all the best. And to anyone struggling with whatever this Christmas. PS, I think our recent run of form has helped the mood on here. Thank fook. I couldn't be arsed reading the whinging and bickering Merry Christmas ya foookers
Merry Christmas everyone all sorted shopping in presents wrapped at a bit of a loose end, nice to chill and relax before the big day COME ON
Happy Christmas and wishing you all a healthy and peaceful 2025. Sister’s arriving today and we’re eating in the pub tomorrow. Daughter and grandson arriving 27th. Happy days.
Thankyou everyone for another year of making this place such a pleasure to be involved with. Have a wonderful Xmas and my best wishes and hopes that your new years will bring the health wealth and happiness and all you wish for yourself and your families.
I posted this pic on Christmas night last year, and got a couple of comments along the lines of "now you tell us". Streaky bacon wrapped around sage n onion stuffing. Much better than over-rated pigs in blankets.
