What it has to do with it is that Brexit brought about an exodus of European workers. Never mnd, plenty of Somalis, Afghans, Iraqis etc. I'm sure the Brexitards welcome that lot with open arms.

 

You need to take a squint at the young fella who won a council seat in Swale on Thursday. Looks like he went home in a flying saucer. Landslide! Reform!

Just cracked open the Matchmakers. Two boxes: mint and orange. That's me sorted till later when I make a start on the nuts.

Had some of the orange ones at work. Been scoffing Quality Street, Lebkuchen and mince pies. Saving the After Eights till Christmas Day. Can you still get Chocolate Brazils? I should go back to the shops and get some Turkish Delight, Liquorice Allsorts and those citrus fruit shaped sugary things. A Terry's Chocolate Orange, giant Toblerone. Chocolate liqueurs. Dates.

Oh yes, you can still get Just Brazils by Paynes. You'll be surprised by the new, smaller packaging. They are no longer nestled in individual cribs, but rather lumped together in a bag. But they still taste good, so crisis averted.

As for Quality Street, I always plump for the green triangle.

I take chocolate seriously.

I love Revels, especially the coffee and orange combo. I'm not too keen on the toffees, though. They should ditch the toffees and replace them with peanuts.
