I think most of us are watching you guys and thinking 'what if' about Arne Slot. The one that got away, it would seem.
One of those that can’t possibly be answered You guys have some quality imho Ange has ran them - whether that’s linked to the injuries or it’s just bad luck is anyone’s guess The prem is tough Don’t think we will know about Slot till his players start to come into this squad ATM we are benefitting from Klopps attacking and the tweets Slot has put in place to defend Personally I don’t think we will win anything but I am always half cup empty CL position literally means nothing We have a tougher second half of season than first imho so we shall see As I say - some of the stuff you guys have been playing g is a joy to watch - hopefully it will come good
I agree he shouldn't be sacked. But don't agree we are certain to be in the knock out round of the EL. There is a chance we could have to go into the play off round.
the league position (bread and butter) says otherwise. Cup wins are all well and good but ultimately Spurs won’t win any of them so the league matters significantly.
Utd are pants and was a cup game. I’m not just on about losing to Chelsea and Liverpool (although conceding 10 goals in 2 games is alarming). League is the bread and butter and Spurs for well over a year now haven’t been good enough. Getting to the last four of the league cup, maybe FA Cup last 8 and last 8 of Europa but finishing 11th-14th isn’t a good season imo.
So, Forest away on Boxing Day. The team no one predicted would be 4th at Christmas, who sold their “best player” to us, and are managed by our former coach. This one potentially writes itself! Followed by wolves, who install a new manager and win 3-0 in their first game. Awful timing for us. These 2 games are huge. Seeing us still stuck on 23 points from 19 games could see the toxicity rise to levels we haven’t seen in a very long time. presuming Levy doesn’t sack Ange, January is going to have to be a very different window than we’re used to, at a time that’s known to be notoriously difficult to sign players. Not only do we need them in January, but we need them early. It’s going to be interesting how this unfolds over the next couple of weeks. As each day/match passes, unless things look like they’re being addressed, the feeling amongst fans is only going to get worse. Much worse.
Sorry....I counted the play off round as part of the knockout section. It certainly isn't part of the league section.
I still think that we are going to win each fixture we have. Always have illogical confidence that we’ll get the three points/progress in a cup competition. Do you think that this could be a mental illness?
Delayed flight, early start the next day does not improve the mood! Especially after watching the game in a airport lounge with quite a few obvious Liverpool fans around you. To be fair all good natured but that was a poor display from us yesterday. Not really sure where we go from here in all honesty. Part of me does not want to see more managerial carnage but even I am starting to have doubts. You can see us losing the next two more than winning them, and that I feel would be the end. Also January is notoriously difficult to get quality players in so does Ange pray that he can get enough numbers of the sick bed up and running?
Levy will have to break the habit of a lifetime to do this, Leopards don`t change their spots, we are stuck on Levy`s roundabout of sporting failure for as long as he sees fit unfortunately, he doesn`t need a successful football team to turn himself into a billionaire.
