Listening to the football several times they've mentioned that we got SB the sack. Well here's my twopennys. Why Bruce was sacked: 1. Lost to Wigan 2. Won twice at home since xmas 3. Was tactically inept 4. Started to blame our 'expectations'. 5. Harped on about the best finish in years everytime he was interested. Yes he lost the fans in the end but he created the problems for himself. Glad he's gone and hopefully we can realise our potential under MON. This magic carpet keeps on going. Your thoughts.
It makes my blood boil the way managers and journos, who have probably barely seen Sunderland all season, are blaming the fans for Bruce being sacked. Average players, shocking tactics and mystifying substitutions means we are now one point above Blackburn and the relegation zone. That is why Bruce was sacked and today shows that Ellis Short has done exactly the right thing and knows more about his club than all these so called football experts.
