Beyond amateur, yes they’re a good side, yes Spurs have injuries. But to play like this is neglect imo. Liverpool could have had double figures if we’re being honest. The manager better not come out talking about entertainment after this game.
I'm running out of excuses for Porro. He is criminally naive defensively and constantly out of position. He doesn't get any less support than the LWB either.
The thing is that this was so predictable. Playing the same way and trusting your methods is fine, but when the opposition are better at it than you…… At least your team has some style and are entertaining to watch, but it’s not winning football. Losing is losing, however well you do it.
Let in 6 goals but I still don’t think spence and gray did that badly. If Udogie is fit then spence for Porro should be a given on Thursday.
I’m not entertained today. The manger should be asked if he still believes we’re going to challenge this year. Whose fooling who LOL?
Especially against his former club. I am hosting my daughter's boyfriend for the day. Ardent Forest fan so it could get messy..
Challenge? Lost 8 league games before Christmas and in the bottom half of the league. Spurs won’t finish top 10 this rate let alone in a European place or win a trophy. Once Spurs go out of Europa then he’s in real trouble.
Awkward interview by Ange after the game imo. Rude when asked reasonable questions and didn’t really answer properly.
He was signed to be a rwb in a back 5 and tbh still looks like he wants to play in that role. I don't have hard data to back this up but I feel like the majority of goals we concede come down his flank and usually because he is constantly 50 yards out of position. Wouldn't be so much of an issue if he was regularly contributing g/a like TAA but he's been awful in the final third this season. I'd love to see Spence given a proper run on that flank. Doubt it will happen.
He's all over the place at the moment and the way Ange sets up does him no favours. I actually would not be at all surprised to see him as a "big name" casualty in January....
