My 4-2 prediction is still on the cards.

I don’t care if we lose (as I fully expected us to), and we never seem to get anything against Liverpool, regardless of our injury problems going into this. But we should be at least trying to do our best to not see our goal difference taking too much of a hammering.

Gomez getting the better of Son for pace time after time is worrying. It's not like he's known for his pacem

    100% tactics.

Seen that situation many times where it’s 3 or 4 vs our 2 CBs on a counter.

The cup heroics have him safe for the time being I’d say.

But considering who our next cup opponents are…

it’ll be interesting to see what unfolds, especially with the anger directed toward Levy, rather than Ange over the last couple of games. I imagine Levy will feel backed into a corner, somewhat.

Home fans understandably completely deflated now but this is the time to get that chant really going. Do all we possibly can to put that pressure on Levy and co to pull their finger out in Jan.

We went into this game with +17 goal difference. We could easily be leaving with +10. Absolutely unacceptable.

Ange doesn’t know how to set the team up to defend as a unit

What level of management is this?

5-1 down at home to the side nearly beaten by Southampton and Fulham....

Actually getting close to such a GD would be better aligned to the currents pts total.

As far as I can tell via media leaks, the players and board still seem fully behind him.

Whether this result changes anything or not who knows.

I do think the cup run is saving him but this battering probably might force a few fingers to begin twitching.

It really is school boy and nothing’s improving. Nothing.

we’ve not got a lot of choice but to. We’ve discussed it over and over about whether Ange is up to it or not, but the changing of manager constantly hasn’t made a scrap of difference. Pressure needs to be put on levy now.

I may be wrong but I don’t think we have lost a game by more than one goal before today. Typical spurs to break that in style <laugh>
There is no shame to lose to Liverpool who are probably the best team in world football right now. But the manner is very painful. It shows we are a million miles away from being a top team. I’m not sure where we go from here tbh, I want to keep the faith with Ange but it’s not easy right now.
