Hahahaha I write a light hearted post for my fellow Mackem's and the Skunks overload the keepnet, methinks I shall have to buy a trawler at this rate.
1) I don't understand the mentality of mags coming on the Sunderland thread to tell us we're obsessed... there's such an obvious irony there it beggars belief. 2) I don't know why we bother to respond to the same old mags who seem compelled to visit us to dish out negative comment. The names of those who add nothing but bile were wholly predictable.
It seems we are supposed to avoid the threads they are involved in on the SUNDERLAND board mate. That would mean we had to avoid every thread on here, as they all have an opinion on everything Sunderland. (Like I say they are all closet Mackem's.)
MR!! I am a bit late to the game here but shall give you my input That conspiracy theory does not seem too far fetched at all! I always thought Gyan had left because of Bruce. With respect to MON, he will give you an initial lift however I see you as hovering around 10th to 13th. He still has to deal with some of the dross that Bruce bought. Next season however will be very interesting.
No problem with anyone picking holes in my argument. I agree about Gyan. The point I was making about the negative posts about MON stands though and anyone with even half a braincell knows it was pointed at the usual faces. But it seems I have to actually list them in alphabetical order to make sure it's plain. MON appointment has already brought a lift. (Well apart from a few fellow Mackem naysayers. ) I am going to have a bet on us being comfortable top half. 10th would do me after this bad start but I honestly believe MON can gee the lads up and we will start to decrease the points gap between us.
The gap between ourselves will certainly decrease. We have been screwed over thanks to a loss of Taylor and Tiote. Without suitable replacements we are in a mess as Perch is no Premier League player. I forget you are only 5 points off 8th spot so I guess there is little stopping you from marching up the league but my concern would be some of your signings just are not quite there. Even if you add the MON 10% added value
The difference is MON has a proven track record of getting the best out of mediocre players. The majority of our squad played in their correct positions are more than capable of bypassing Newcastle imho. A big plus too is that if he sees something isn't working in a game, he is willing to change it as soon as possible. He isn't bothered about upsetting people if he feels it's warranted either.
MackemsRule a word of advice - if you really don't want Newcastle fans to reply to your thread all you have to do is stop talking about them in your threads. Couldn't be simpler really
I disagree (surprise, surprise). I think our first team is better than yours however your squad matches if not slightly beats ours overall!
How? You keep resorting to personal insults, I made a perfectly fair point. If you resort to childish insults, then tbh it just makes me think you don't have a valid point to make at all!
**** me another brain surgeon turns up. <Doh> I have no problem whatsoever conversing with the more reasonable Mags who aren't just here to deride the club I love or make snide comments about us. The majority of the replies on this thread from first to last have followed on from the first one accusing me of saying it was all the Skunks. Which I am sick of having to point out is clearly untrue. Please go back and read those first few lines and you will realise your fellow Skunks have tried to latch onto the only thing they could disagree with. IE. me saying it was all skunks. PS. If I want advice from a Mag I will ask my neighbour or go onto the Newcastle board. Well I may talk to my neighbour, but as I have no interest in the unwashed up the road you wont be seeing me on their board. Nor will I be wasting my time trawling the Newcastle board looking for something to whine about, like a group of pre-menstrual pussies seem to enjoy doing on here.
FFS "Well the Skunks have been inundating our board with their suppossitions that O'Neil is out of touch with modern football." Now the way you are reading it idiot! "Well ALL THE Skunks have been inundating our board with their suppossitions that O'Neil is out of touch with modern football." Now **** off back and worry about your own club falling down the league as we pass you on the way up.
I'm not scared of you now you have a new manager, but I think he can turn you around. I reckon you will be pushing for the top 10 next to Swansea and Stoke.
bookmarked How about? "Well, a couple of the Skunks have been inundating our board....." To a lot of people, what you wrote looked like a dig at the whole of the Toon support, it can be interpreted in more than one different way. You can't argue against that, even if you meant it differently, it is just the way of the English Language. However, I am glad that you do realise it is just a few Toon fans who suggested that , and that not all Toon fans are quaking in their boots about your new managerial genius
Bookmarked?????? Like I give two ****s! The only people who can't seem to be able to read plain English are you and your fellow Skunks. I told the original Mug that it wasn't all Skunks too, you know a couple of posts in, so you are just making yourself look a bigger knob than you are by ignoring those posts. Then stretching YOUR interpretation to the limit and failing miserably. TBF it doesn't surprise me. PS. ALL the Skunks ARE quaking in their boots about our class new manager.
