Well said. Nice to hear some positive views. You captured the emotion at the end well. Had to be there to feel that.

Great performance. Was worried at half time as their heads went down after the equaliser but credit to Ruben and the players for getting in front again and then holding it.

We should be looking for at least a draw against Preston.

Okay performance against a side worse than us.....I welcome the three points, of course. Lets hope they got some confidence for the run to come and its the start of the turning point towards safety.

PS...City's No 20 is a dickhead....Gets brought down, then waves at the ref for a yellow card. Ref books him, and rightly so. Its not as if they haven't been told. Then two minutes later tries to rugby tackle one of there's, but ref missed it...Lucky to keep 11 on the pitch....What a numpty.

Burstow has had a couple off good games off the bench now but I don't think he did anywhere near enough previously to backup claims he should have been starting before now. He has now earned a shot and looks like he could do well on the LW but I wouldn't put too much pressure on him and I also wouldn't write Kamara off who is still one of the most likely to create a good chance for us.

Agree about his needless booking and rugby tackle, and he might be a dickhead, but he was my man of the match, gave 100% effort and ran himself ragged. :emoticon-0138-think

We’ve needed a midfielder like Puerta today for ages. Agree re the missed rugby tackle, bit of a brain fart but by god he covered every blade today, with purpose too. Something Slater needs to add, as he was probably the only player today who was poor

How come you didn’t know his name ? It’s Puerta
Lots of Prem players do it and often get away with it , the ref apart from allowing them to steal yards at free kicks and restrict ours , had a good game

I lost track of the players ages ago...All look the same to me...Most of them are midgets...I'm still getting my head around Myhill/ Ashbee/Dawson/Turner/Ricketts et al.

Agreed! Our throw ins seem to have been awful under successive managers.

Puerta probably should have had at least 4 yellow cards today, but it's nice to have a nasty ****er in the midfield. Burstow also impressed me today, apart from the obvious, with his strength on the ball resisting the opposition attempts to bully him. Surely time to give Kamara a rest.

"City's no 20" was our MoM. Loved it when he took their RB out. We need more, not less, of that.

Exactly this, we need to start with the street smart football and ****housing. It's been missing all season.

I thought puerta was awesome today.

I wouldn't disagree. We need a big element of ****housery in our play, but waving an imaginary card right in front of the ref was a dickhead thing to do...Then tried to grab the shorts of one of theirs has he went through. Luckily for us the ref had turned his head and he got away with it...or else we would have been down to 10 and hanging on for the last 20.

Selles seems to like his teams partaking in the dark arts of the game. I for one welcome it

    Pfft

We’ll win the World Cup playing like that and no mistake.

Could have blown the three points towards the end, but I’m hoping some misses, like Slater’s were a confidence/trying too hard thing.

Anyway we looked the much better team, and I’m just enjoying the fact I enjoyed the game!
