Hard to complain being 7 unbeaten but that could and should have been at least 4-1. Onwards and upwards though. Going to be tough without Cook but let's hope they used some stronger gaffer tape on JCS this time.
Well that worked out in end. Don't think PNE had a shot on target...their goal was all down to Cooks injury. Full respect to PNE for not really celebrating...as they know they wouldn't have really scored if Cooky had been there. We didn't make anything much in first half but so much better in second. Smyth had an excellent game, Saito not so. Field and Varane are an excellent midfield pairing. Kolli too had a good game..no idea how he holds up play the way that a good CF should but he seems to...and onto of that he is fast and can shoot on target too. Glad to see players coming back...but suspect Cook will be out for a long time...good we have JCS back and Fox is an OK CD ( but a useless full/ wing back) 3 beautiful points. Totally agree and we should bear no grudge against PNE for taking that goal as I am sure if the roles were reversed, we would have done exactly the same.
