I'm still singing Rockin' All Over the World. I had a bit of a tear in my eye at the end - the first time I can remember in months and months that it felt everyone was pulling in the right direction and the players on the pitch were giving it their all. Loved Burstow and Giles' celebrations at the end. That was significantly better than most of the dross we've served up this season. Last 10 minutes of the first half aside - we had control of the game and didn't just have the ball but were moving it forward with pace. First time I've watched a midfield this season and thought 'yep, that'll do'. Puerta;s best game for us - he was everywhere in the 10 mins before he went off. Slater, Coyle, Jones and Longman worked their balls off and Slater and Longman deserved to score for their efforts. Burstow and Pedro were excellent. Giles and Kamara looked committed and put some good balls in. I'm really chuffed. A long way to go but hopefully we can put Walter behind us now Selles has had some time to work with the side. He's increasingly looking like an extremely poor manager.
And massively over egging how good we were we won thank **** but let’s not kid ourselves how great we were
I disagree. We were excellent and created some really good chances. It would have taken a Walter side a season to create as many chances as we had in that match today.
Just going back to the pitch.... have the ground staff lost it again.... looked shocking on the west side... and thats before the Eggers start...
We were good today. I think it’s a benefit they were really poor but we took advantage and that’s all you can ask in our current circumstances
I think that Blackburn game did a lot of damage. Followed by Watford so quickly after where both heaved down.
