Just thinking about this, Juric has a career history that if there were an English equivalent would read something like: Great job at Swansea on no budget Took Brighton up to become a solid mid table team Failed at Chelsea, whilst they were being mad. But yeah, according to X/Facebook, we should have got Potter.
Really looking like this could be a great no risk appointment. We're all ready down, that's 95% nailed on. With this guy could our 5% chance move up to maybe 10? Either way he's not some no mark from a mid sized championship club. If he pisses the players off, then quite frankly good. They've been ****ing coasting all season with their best pal Russ. If he pisses off the board, also good. They've sat around with their thumb up their arses for too long. It's about time we had a right nasty twat in charge. I would ****ing love it if he comes in and absolutely beasts them for phys, if he knocks off Xmas piss ups and multiple days off. I'd love it if he sets us up to be committing fouls to stop attacks. To get opposing players sent off. We're weak. The team is weak, the board is weak. Change it up and we'll love the mad **** forever. Just have a ****ing go and make the lads give 100% and give us our pride back.
And a couple of weeks before half the squad hand in transfer requests. Did hear talk a couple are looking to do it now anyway
Whatever the +/- of this appointment, like the now, many before(!) I wish him well and hope that the players get on board QUICKLY!!!! COYR!!
It’s just rumours. We all knew the players liked Martin so him going + how **** we’ve been = players wanting out story being an easy one to theorise As I mentioned on the other thread be interesting to see how Juric lines up with the squad. Martin clearly had players he liked/trusted over others and they may not be in the fold much anymore. For example Sulemana was heavily linked to Roma in the summer when Juric was still there I think so he might be given a bigger role over the likes of Fraser Juric won’t have the “well he scored and assisted loads last year” glasses on with Armstrong, so he might not be as automatic as he has been in the forward line. Clean slates all round hopefully and see how it all goes
Yeah it will be the same as always. If a better club/opportunity comes up then the player will want the move. If they don’t then the player won’t. Of course there will be turnover at the end of the season with relegation/general player movement. Be interesting if there is any movement of players in January
Think we’ve got to trim the squad if we can. Wellington seems a complete unknown, but if he has pace then might get a look in at LWB. Fraser will be difficult to shift. I wonder if Ugochukwu will get a chance if the new gaffer wants more athleticism. Ramsdale Wood Bednarek THB Suga Downes Fernandes KWP Dibling Archer Armstrong I think Armstrongs work ethic will see him keep starting games over others in the squad
