I don't follow football particularly, so I'm not sure what the UEFA Super Cup is. Presumably it's a competition entered into by only a few teams for a bit of a laugh?
Sorry perhaps my example used is actually of much more significance than the ROC when one considers the requirements to get into the Super Cup! The Super Cup is a one off match between the winners of the European Champions League and the Europa League winner. It clearly differs from the ROC, in that the participants are actually 'champions' of something before taking part. It's still relatively unimportant in the greater scheme of things and is seen as little more than a day out for teams and fans. It doesn't have the credibility or significance of winning a Permier League or Champions League trophy in the same way winning the ROC has no comparison to winning a Grand Prix! A bad example used in hindsight, sorry Cosi!
Hey! No need for apologies Beef! I seriously didn't have any idea what it was, other than guessing it was some kind of European competition. Please don't apologise. I was not trying to belittle your comment. In fact, now that I understand a little more, it seems quite a good analogy.
oh so Grosjean is french again now then? will he make up his mind? he was running the swiss flag in F1 practice
