As I was once told, a bad round of golf is better than a great day in the office any time so I don’t suppose he really cared how good his golf was
Who actually cares.. Unless of course a really big club comes in for him if there is a sell on clause.
Lots more will because they can see we’ve no real ambition to be a top half premier team. Owners happy enough to fill the stadium and cash in on best players in each transfer window. Fans just need to get used to it but I think most are quite happy once we keep getting the big fees and release the odd rumour about trying to buy a top player
I should be able to keep going this year hopefully. Elderly father admitted to hospital last night with Covid again. Second time in 12 weeks. Being an only son I’m fairly stretched at minute so expect intermittent bouts of extra misery over the Xmas
You know I am only pulling your leg (I hope). Pretty stressful time for you I would imagine, I hope your father makes a speedy recovery mate
Thanks a mill bud. I love the leg pulling here. Been a welcome distraction in a stressful year. At 91 he’s had a good innings but he’s having it very tough now and we can’t visit at present
Lost my old boy a few months back fella... doesn't matter how good the innings has been it's still tough when it happens. Hope your dad is on the mend soon. Thoughts with you mate.
I’m not really a betting man Milkster but I can say with Aski like backed data, one of your bad rounds of golf are but amateur compared to some of the stuff I can conjure up. Last time I played Ben, if no one was looking, my second shot was one of the best tee shots anyone has seen off the first tee at the Suffolk Golf Course. The issue was only one of me or the ball should have still been there after the first shot
