    You see loads of Chinese and Indian Elvis impersonators as well.

    I remember everybody at college going on about The Matrix when it came out. When I finally watched it I thought it was a pile of ****e.

    The trilogy got worse as it went on but the first film was genuinely groundbreaking for its effects, choreography and fight scenes. It set a totally new benchmark for action films. The storyline wasn't incredibly original but was more than strong enough to carry some weakish acting (including Keanu Reeves who despite being a thoroughly nice bloke has the emotional range of a plank of wood).
