I guess this thread may (or may not) be more interesting now, depending on what we've said to Juric. A striker seems a must (how many times have we said that)? Someone like Stefanos Tzimas might be gettable - he's on loan at Nurnberg from PAOK and is a talent. Be good to get a wide player too that can genuinely play in the Adarma position.
It’s a difficult window tbh as we are down. We’d have to find players that are potentially good enough to play in the PL in a couple of seasons but would happily sign to be a championship player. Seems unlikely. We also have way too many players as is, and need to shift some if we can. Tough on Juric (hopefully he knew this though), but I really don’t want us to be wasting money like our last PL January window, particularly when we won’t stay up anyway. And that window has hamstrung us ever since. In fact rather than players, I’d rather we work on improving our recruitment team and maybe actually have a go at replacing Wilcox!
Oh I totally agree, hence suggesting someone like Tzimas - he'd probably come despite the situation and he might be able to contribute some impact this season.
