I can't be arsed being creating agro anymore.. let us all rejoice. I actually rolled over the other day and realised I've been behaving like a tit. Have a good Christmas everyone.
This has to be a win..no ****ty draw or defeat. We needed 3 wins this week, done the first two, have to complete the job if we are serious about europe.
At least the Longstaff stat lovers can bugger off now. We just don't have the talent or depth to keep shuffling our best players out of position and football starts with getting your best XI on the pitch, in their best positions. It's the same reason why England never win a tournament, too obsessed with "accommodating". We now seem a lot more settled, a lot happier and have the players across two elevens to make the right in game changes without upsetting the rhythm. We still need a plan b for when plan a doesn't work, but I doubt we'll ever get one. We will also never move from 4-3-3 whilst Howe is here.
Nah, I think he's going to use his best XI most weeks now and try and use the 5 subs better. Pope/Dubs; Liv/Trips, Schar/Krafth, Botman/Burn, Hall/Kelly; Tonali/Miley, Bruno/Longstaff, Joelinton/Willock; Murphy/Almiron, Isak/Osula, Gordon/Barnes.
