Cheltenham even though 13th in the table (Gills 9th) there's only 3 points seperating us, although the Gills have a game in hand. Not sure what the Robins are like these days, but always been a tough cookie often swamped with big players. I think we are just going to cancel one another out... 0-0 I would actually be happy with a point, although 3 points would be a nice Christmas present. Consistency is the main thing and not losing, Chelts will probably be feeling the same.
Gills not been good in evening matches. Can't remember last time we won one. Gills 1 Cheltenham 1 (Nevitt)
Firstly A Merry Christmas to all. I have recently been very short on my reports and thoughts. But looking back on our last 6 results. 1 draw, 3 wins and 2 defeats. The two defeats both from a winning margin, one from a very poor dismal display away to Bromley ( Sky Match ) how did we play sooooo badly. Then we play like a prem side and beat undefeated at home MK DONS. Talk about chalk and cheese. We are missing something but what, we are poor then we turn on the magic. SOOO what is stopping the magic from flowing?????? I have been so excited waiting for Dack to be fit to play, him on the right Johhny Williams on the left and Nevitt through the centre, WHAT a combination. Dack came on for the last 10 minutes plus 10 added against MK. Where was the TUTU???? he danced around the pitch and never touched the ball. He looked like someone who had never played before. Sad. We have never been a good side in front of the SKY cameras, I have no idea why but just seems that way. Christmas/New Year fixtures start tonight with 4 massive games ahead, it would be Christmas if we managed all 4 wins, starting tonight against Cheltenham visit from the West Country, who have a great draw record. Boxing Day a trip to Essex and another late Sky game on a short trip to London and AFC. On the 30th. Then our opening New Year game and halfway point against local Bromley. So we have no excuses for traveling, all local games. We have a game In hand on the play-offs, so tonight is a must-win if we are to keep any hopes alive. Home crowd is always important and hopefully a full gate for this pre-Christmas evening match. If we can just turn on the form like we did at MKD ohhh I wish and wish, just like rubbing the golden lamp in Aladdin. Well I must start and its a win for me. MKB 3 v 1 Cheltenham
