Graham Taylor Matchday: Confirmed ✔️ With the blessing of the Taylor family, Watford FC is pleased to confirm Saturday January 4, 2025, as the date for this season’s Graham Taylor Matchday. GT’s first-ever signing for the Hornets, commanding centre-half Ian Bolton, has been working alongside the club to invite ex-players in ‘The Class of 1977-1983’ back as guests for matchday. They’ll be introduced to the Vicarage Road faithful as part of a half-time ‘lap of honour’, with the intention that one or two individual players who’ve not been back for quite some time – if at all – get a chance to address the crowd before kick-off, too. A roll call of names will be confirmed nearer to the date of the fixture, but already there’s a decent squad forming! So please prepare to be at your seats by 2.45pm latest; not only to greet some Hornets’ heroes of yesteryear, but also of course to hold your scarves aloft as the teams take to the field – in tribute to the late, great Graham Taylor OBE, and everything he did to build the club as we know it today, one which is proud to continue his community traditions and values. As was the case last season with Chesterfield FC, Watford will be extending the invite to raise scarves aloft in remembrance & tribute via Sheffield United FC to all their travelling fans joining us at The Vic on this very special matchday. Join us at The Vic on January 4: The Graham Taylor Matchday.
Rajovic report card from Brondby https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/s...ournalists-half-term-report-watfords-rajovic/
Good report....and fair comment...and he is achiveing success when he is in the box....bring him back to Watford as an impact player......
Bringing him back depends on how TC sees the future of Jebbison. So far he has shown nothing, and seems a waste of space. At best, we could hope that he might be an impact sub, and we don't need two of them.
FA Youth Cup game against Crewe set for 8th January https://www.watfordfc.com/news/2024/december/23/fa-youth-cup-date-set-for-crewe-clash/
Can anyone remember a player being hammered by the boo boys as much as Bachmann without doing much wrong since a dodgy little spell when probably not fully fit ? The whole team were poor but again being singled out when not really sure he can be blamed for today - its ok saying he could come flying out but the defence needs to be better.
