Tonali is such a tidy player, a clean player, so good technically. Reminded me of Pirlo the way he played tonight, was everywhere, passing was accurate all the time.. just constantly kept the teams engine running. Such a slick player, quality.
Tonali is I think the best quality in terms of technical ability we have ever had. He’s getting match fit and I think I he’s possibly the best player we have had for decades. Italians say he’s their best quality player and that absolutely true. We have an absolute diamond. His gambling is an unfortunate stain on him. But he needs to now deliver on his promise. I think he’s one of the worlds best midfielders and I think he is better than Bruno.
