Call me old-fashioned but given the big clubs lobbied to be able to sub off half your outfield players it would make more sense to start the big guns and bring a few off when you’re 3-0 up against the smaller team who are just grateful to be on the same pitch rather than give them a chance and have to get Saka/Odegaard/Saliba on to save the day.
