    No .

If he knew he wasn’t wanted / needed , he could have chosen to stay .Doing what I don’t know and care even less .

I will NOT be convinced otherwise .

Please read the article written by BBC F1 journalist Andrew Benson, who knows far more about it than anyone on here.

Sergio Perez: Red Bull part ways with Mexican Formula 1 driver with two years left on contract - BBC Sport

    In it is this:

"Although Red Bull had already decided to ditch Perez, he was reluctant to leave and his management sought the best possible compensation agreement before acquiescing"

If they could just have got rid of him they would have done and saved themselves a few million quid .

Liam Lawson replacing Perez, who definitely wasn’t sacked.

Be interesting to see how Lawson gets on.

I’m going with ‘better, but not massively better’. They just don’t seem to be able/want to get another genuinely top level driver in that second seat.

Thought Tsunoda would have been better. Maybe Max didn’t want someone to push him so close.

Agreed. He also isn't a raw but extremely talented driver like Antonelli who has the potential to really challenge his teammate . They've just gone for someone who will be happy to drive a better car and won't challenge Verstappen. Can't see Red Bull fighting for the Constructor's Championship again next year TBH. That will probably be between Ferrari and McLaren again, with a possible Mercedes challenge. But IMO, by some distance Ferrari and McLaren will have the strongest driver line ups next year. Of course, I'm assuming Lewis will bounce back somewhat from a mediocre season by his standards.

Tsunoda wouldn’t get close to Max. He’s not any better really than Lawson. Much of a muchness.

I would have taken a punt on Hadjar if I were Red Bull. Bortoleto will be interesting to watch too, but there’s no real ‘wow’ standout this year in the juniors.

I think he’d take more risks than Lawson, guess would’ve been more fun in the grid.

Still think he could’ve outscored Lawson, and defo an upgrade on Perez.

2 knockdowns and battered him 7, 8 and 9. I hate the corruption of boxing.

Allen made him look so sloppy, Fisher won’t go much further.

Not sure we’re watching some chap drumming along to Eye of the Tiger at the boxing?

    He’s scary. Hard to believe he’s 19.

McKean is an alright boxer, took Hrgovic 11 rounds and technically good
