Agreed, and if it is just a lack of hunger [Insert joke about free school meals here] then it probably won't change anything. With Rashford you wonder if it goes deeper than that, in which case it might help, but without being close to him it's difficult to tell.
No idea. He seems to try a leg brief around cotnract time and then just stopped again. When utd needs people to run through the wall he was the one standing with hands on hips shrugging with fernandes as the team conceded goals. Imo amorim need to sell the lot and ASAP. He's got a few kids that he can influence and probably ugarte and dalot but after that? Sell the lot. Daillo as the kid moved to rwb from rw is OK. He can work with him. Mainoo is OK.
I would have taken Rashford say 3 years ago but not today think there is a huge problem with his attitude. Another one with the talent but not the right attitude to make him a great player.
He has shown talent in flashes, but then so did players like Pogba and Balotelli. The fact is that in football talent is nothing without application. A player that only turns it on when they feel like it is more a liability than an asset.
The game has changed a lot in the past few years and he has failed to adapt to it. Would be great in a non competitive league where you don’t have to do any work. PSG seems like a great fit.
He's undoubtedly talented but similarly he's not been a great player for a few years. That said, Man U seems like it's been an awful place to develop yourself and you wonder if it would have been different if he'd been somewhere else.
Sort of where I am edging to (you lot are so harsh btw lmao) I think in the right environment he could be quality Of course he has to want it Doesn’t strike me as a Pogba or Balotelli tbf But something has clearly gone wrong at Utd I defo don’t think he is beyond saving
My own personal opinion is, he can be very good when he wants to be, but rarely seems to want to be. Regardless of whether Rashford has the quality or not... be very unusual for him to join us. Would need a lot of bleach scrub to get the United off of him.
It's ok - you could have a bad dream about having your eye poked out with a sharp stick, doesn't mean you're in favour of it.
Neil on TAW suggesting that we won't be signing a DM in January but possibly a 10 who will score goals from the position and pushing Jones and Szoboszlai further back.
That'd not be good. Szoboszlai just gives his all every game but there's massive gaps with that and I just don't think you want plauers who are 10s playing back there taking extra touches. You really just want a good cm who moves that ball nice and crispy.
