Why are people pretending the word snuck doesn't exist?

David Coote has been sacked. Anthony Taylor hasn't.

Hopefully for The FA it doesn't go to trial, because calling Norbert an arrogant German **** is the fairest of comments since the suggestion that the Pope is Catholic

Which is kind of the point I was going to make. All the "analysis" and debate about this subject has been over whether Coote was biased against Liverpool. To that end we have for example the BBC giving details on Pool games he reffed after the "row" with Norbert. I don't know how many of their games he reffed before that, but surely that would be part of the analysis too? Moreover, whatever the stats show, that does not prove bias. Even more moreover, no pundit or article I've seen has criticised Norbert's part in this. Maybe Coote was reacting against the abuse he got from Norbert, while not mentioning other managers because they haven't done the same. After all, we've seen Norbert cross the line (literally) several times. He never seemed to get punished for any of his outbursts, and I'm sure his rants were at least as vociferous, and certainly more plentiful that what Poch did, and got a ban for. So the basic point is that nobody criticised Norbert for what he said, it seems to be assumed that Coote was biased. Oh, and also the guy that sent in the stuff. I hope he enjoys his blood money. With friends like that...

Coote ****ed himself with the "white powder" snorting and the betting thing, though slagging off Klopp didn't help.
I think that the match officials could help themselves deal with managers on the sidelines quite easily, though.
Give the 4th official the ability to discipline them himself. A few sending offs for acting like a twat and it's over.

Can't argue with this really <laugh>

I think it would make for fantastic television.

Alternatively, see who can actually win something without having more money than the rest of the league combined...

My Dad hated football but he was born in East Ham so I am grateful in some respects!

Thinking about it, it was probably the last game that we went together as I was in that early teenage 'claiming my independence' state. Dad passed when I was too young to know him and mum brought me up on her tod. Had an uncle who was a lifelong Spurs fan - so all the pain of nearly 60 years was all his fault!! <laugh>
