Not sure it’s that dramatic we lost our two best players who cost 10m together, let’s see what happens after Jan.

As Brady has mentioned (20+ times:emoticon-0105-wink:) 21st is a success this season now. Never did I think that would be the case this season but here we are.

We’ll then need to go through a fairly standard summer:

    Keeper - absolutely fine.
Right back - Drameh becomes first choice and Coyle back up.
Centre back - Hughes needs a better partner. Jones and Maka are more than good enough back ups.
Left back - hopefully sorted in Jan.
    DM - Zambrano? Alzate/Simons
CMs - a mess. As they have been since Acun took over.
Wingers - Millar, Belloumi and Kamara is decent need another.
Striker - Pedro + Burstow. Could do with a spend on someone decent

Yet that's only a couple of new starters more than what we currently have (of course, some of those being injured)

Looking at his finances the whole thing seems odd as he can’t afford these constant season financial loses.

Lets hope Drameh steps up in a right back position given the opportunity. because other than one stand out performance at LB he's been dire more often than not...

he’s a right back playing left back, he was a promotion winning right back with Luton, the fruit man’s purple patch is over he simply isn’t good enough for the level at all.

Coyle has been miles better than Drameh this season. It's mental how much reputations affect people's perceptions. Whenever Coyle makes the slightest error people can't wait to write him off. Drameh has looked one of the most technically limited players in the whole squad but it's never talked about, because he was the sexy new signing who some people believed would automatically replace Coyle. Cody can defend well 1v1 at times and he has a surprisingly good shot, but he's always giving the ball away in bad positions and he offers next to nothing going forward.

You may well be right, but bear in mind that he's being played as a makeshift left back when his preferred position is on the right.

I don't think that's anywhere near as big a deal as people make out.

I found it bizarre with the club decimated in the summer one of the first signings made was a right back!!
We had no wingers no forwards no left back arf no first choice centre half
And the first signing was to cover our captain!!

Football, nowhere near as complicated as some make out. It's kicking the ball to a team mate or into the goal. Getting the ball off the opposition player using your feet, stopping them kicking the ball into the goal.

Coyle is the only outfield player not to have been rotated even once so far this season

    He needs benching for swansea
    Fact

And drameh has his ups and downs
But you only need to look at him on the left to see how he always cuts inside onto his right which somehow causes him to **** up half the time
Hes been the weakest defender in possession
Coyle is usually very tidy but safe in possession

Might be a bit better on the right side

    Hes no wonderkid

I'm pretty sure the new coach will pick the team he thinks capable of winning matches.Coyle has been roasted in a few games this season,it happens, there's some decent wide men at this level?

He's had a tough season so far,he was asked too much of under Walter but he could never be accused of not giving his all...Another 5 or 6 like him on the pitch and we wouldn't be in the predicament we're in.

Like I say,if Selles chooses to bench him, that's his call and we go with it.Up until that point we support Coyle and whoever else he fields...

For what it's worth,it's easy to find a scapegoat when we're struggling and in this Club's case at this point in time, there are many.

This mess isn't just on Coyle, there are several players out there who need to up their game significantly, starting on Saturday...

Its impossible to criticise coyle in anyway

A lot on here manage to easily find a scapegoat when we’re winning.

tbh I haven’t ever viewed it that way but I haven’t paid as much attention last few weeks. I’d still like to see him in his actual position.

No need to get stroppy...But,no skin off my nose if you want to act like Billy big balls:emoticon-0148-yes:

You said he needed benching against Swansea 'fact'...I'm saying the Coach will decide who needs benching, the rest of the post was a general take on some of the 'scapegoating' that goes on with regularity when we're not winning.

And yes its quite obvious the manager is selecting the team

    But scapegoating?
    So dont ever be critical

    Ok

Blind Freddy can see Coyle was at fault or at least culpable in both goals against Cov. Giving him a rest isn't a particularly controversial take.
