Love players that are always backing themselves to find their form

He wasn't great at the start of the season but he also wasn't bad (bar a couple of games). You could see there was more to come and it was just about him being more comfortable in being the captain but also the tactical side of the game.

His performances in the last 3 games is exactly the type of players most of us see him as. The type that can do a bit of everything and take over games at this level.

I really like him as the captain as I've heard loads of great things about how he is in the dressing and he's one of the most loved players in the squad

There isa few comments in the last few about people slagging players performance, throwing their toys etc.. when we went 2-0 down. I don't think there is massive problem with it, it's two the person feels at that moment about what they are seeing and not like it's being shouted at the players

What irritates the **** out of me is those posters that pop up with glee the moment we aren't playing well and tell us all how such and such is shte, the manager and board needs sacking and it's same old Sunderland. But hardly ever show up when it's going well!

Alright share your feelings when it's going against us but do the same when it's going well and ffs don't make out like everything is ****e when it's far from it!

    Who am I?

"Sack the board, sell to rich energy tramp who will at least run it right, show some ambition and sign Mbappe and get Phillips as a manager at least he knows the club"

(despite him leaving over 20 year ago and showing very little interest in the club since!)"

The only thing supporters should ever give players stick for is blatant lack of effort.

You just never see a scintilla of that now. If there was he'd probably get hauled off the pitch by the rest of the players, never mind the boss. They are all at it, all the time, and they look out for each other. That will always be good enough for me

Yeah, I admit I have recently commented on ****e second half's etc.. but I'm never dissapointed with the effort. So while I'm gutted by dropped points etc.. I don't think too negatively of these players.

I'm the same, I will often comment on how I feel at that minute in time and will often vent on here but I'll always be consistent win lose or draw

I don't mind people picking faults in things but hate when the same ones don't praise things when it's going well

There's some posters that I've barely heard from this season because things are going well - guarantee if things change they'll comment loads

You could tell the score by who was posting most on Saturday.

Machine gun posts at 2-0 down ...

    ... a spud gun at 3-2.

I actually thanked heaven I don't have to sit near some of these tactical experts at matches.

There's nothing wrong with comments about the match or the way it's going. But one thing that really makes me howl is that, whereas people would never dare claim they're better than any of the players ...

... they have absolutely no problem posting about how they know better than the manager.

As I pointed out, on Saturday, the 'too cautious' Sunderland substitution made a huge difference to our play despite it being greeted with derision. The Swansea manager made two 'positive' changes and three minutes later they'd gone from 2-1 up to 3-2 down.

I posted negative at 2-0 and equally as much positive when we were 2-1 down and playing better.

reactions are fine it’s those who focus on one severely that’s a slight problem

The bruise on my arm from Saturdays celebrations hasn't gone down! Limbs everywhere and a pure moment of joy.

Those that get to away games have it so much better, the support was unbelievable

They came on when they were winning and three minutes later they were losing ...

... would you accept that the changes contributed to that situation.

And would you say O'Nien helped us get up the field?

I have to say Dan Neil grabbed us by the scruff of the neck Saturday and was everywhere second half. A proper performance from a quality player.

The bit that really got me and it may be normal for the regular away fans, but the players just refused to give up and they gave everything, it felt like it meant so much to them all

Our away support is absolutely superb, even when times are tough, and you can tell the players love it ...

... it's like one giant organism, can't wait for Boxing Day.
