We had a run of eas(ier) games early on, and now we've got a run of hard. Same thing is going to happen again when we play the reverse fixtures at the end of the season. We need to assume we're probably really about 6 points below what the table says until we go though the final hard push because we will lose points at the tail end, just like we are now.

Yeah the players chucked it in ages ago and it should never have taken as long as it has to happen. Should have went after we threw the two goal lead at home to Leicester tbh. The faking of a head injury is actually quite sinister. A couple of Fulham lads did it with us, knee in the back, go down holding head. I don't know about retrospective action maybe it could be retrospective the other way around ie ref gives the player a yellow on the pitch and it can be retrospectively rescinded if it's a real injury. Maybe a better way would be to enforce that any player with a suspected head injury (because it could be a real injury) has to leave the pitch for as long as it takes to check it out.
I've long thought that any player with a head injury should have to leave the pitch for minimum of 3 minutes. Would soon stop teams faking it.
Does it bug anyone else when commentators say "we don't want to see teams go down to ten men"? Obviously, most of us hope to watch a entraining but fair match were both teams finish with eleven but they always come out with this line after a dodgy challenge or alteration thats gone unpunished; if they deserve to be sent off, they deserve to be sent off. I wouldn’t stop there. Anyone that stays on the ground for longer than 10 seconds or rolls around 5 times has to go off to be treated. If you’re actually injured you need the treatment, if not then you’ll soon get up
The rugby people are rowing back on their policies as the law suits are getting held up The southern nations hate any rule about head impact at all. Imo anyone going down holding their face should be off for 5mins to be check and any arm into a face should be var instantly and off for the same amount of time minimum and then upgraded to red. Anyone dropping like walker should be a red
Just take the offenders and the offendee off at the same time. Quick var review (they do **** all most of the time) No contact to the head then the offenders comes back on but the diver gets 10mins. If there was contact then leave them both off for 3mins.
