I blame Perch for our loss. I blame Perch for the injuries on Saylor and Colo. I blame Perch for the red card not being shown.

That said, I am fully behind him after his second half performance and want to see him perform against Norwich.

We must get behind Obertan as well. Time and time again at the match people were shouting "dont get on Perch's back" then every one of them screamed at Obertan when he lost the ball. Great for the confidence man

  4. Obertan is a good player, he just needs to find his mojo. He got owned by Ashley Cole yesterday, but he wont be up against that sort of quality all the time.

No one seems willing to give him time, he's young with bundles of ability but he doesn't know how to put it all into one game, yet.

Exactly and every game in front of our crowd seems to hurt him more.

It's all the little glory hunters that have appeared since we've started well this season, hate people like that.

I thought you'd said "Perch will have to have the game of his life" and was just confused as to why you rated Norwich's strikers so highly.

If Colo and Tiote are back I think we'll be ok for the next 3 games to be honest. Perch can live with those teams I'm sure. No excuses in January this time though we need cover.

    Perch is ****.

Look. Let's just clarify that Perch, amazingly enough, doesn't read this forum. On this forum, we're perfectly entitled to share our thoughts - negative or otherwise. It will make absolutely no difference to Perch. On the pitch, when he plays, we can all give him our support and cheer him on 100%, but on places like forums it doesn't make a jot of difference. People need to stop getting so defensive over it.

Again, if I'm in the crowd, I will support him 100%. But this is an online forum. If I say something positive, I'm not 'supporting' him at all, because he's never going to see it. If I write "well done Perch, you're a great player" onto a piece of paper, then scrunch the paper up and throw it into the ocean, am I still 'supporting' him? It's pretty much the same effect.

If he's there, SUPPORT the guy, but in the privacy of a remote online forum, I think we're entitled to share our honest views.

I read somewhere in an interview with a player and he said that some of them actually do read fan forums... I still think it's unlikely that any players read this forum, but you never know.

Regardless of that though, if Perch is going out and trying his hardest he deserves support from the crowds. He may make mistakes, he may not - Either way, he's the best we've got right now.
It's not his fault that the club are in this situation. There should have been a CB signed in the summer and the fact that there wasn't is inexusable. An event like this was quite likely to happen, as S. Taylor has always been injury prone. I've been saying this since May and so have others.
