Very pleased to see Spence start. Hope he does really well this evening. That midfield ain't stopping anything from getting through so we just need to make sure the attackers hit the back of the net at every opportunity.
That bench is short on game changing options..then again it often is, it's just they are normally more experienced at not being game changing options!
Genuinely amazed he’s remembered Djed Spence exists. No Bissouma in the squad, been no talk of an injury (so far) either from what I’ve seen.
I really want Spence to stake a big claim for that spot. I like Porro a lot but he is an absolute liability at the back and tbh his attacking play this season hasn't matched the standard he set last season. I actually wouldn't be against playing Porro much further forward as I think his skill set is better suited as a RW than RB.
Our squad's utterly depleted and Reguilon still doesn't make the bench. I'm sure he's on the way out in January, but we literally don't have another left-back. Wasteful.
If we're brutally honest, the team out there on paper is exactly where you'd expect it to be. Mid table. If Soton are up for it, I can see them taking the points.
I can't see anything other than a saints win, i expect there to be goals but not enough them to be scored by us
They’ve only won 1 league game from 15. If they win tonight then Spurs are in bigger trouble than I feared.
I said after the Chelsea game that Mason would be in charge for the Utd game on Thursday, lose tonight and that will almost certainly be the case.
Ornstein reckons that the board are still 100% behind Ange... Can only hope that if that's true, we're in for a big January, because he and we need it!
