Every team has faults, I just think those teams have less issues than others January is huge tho, if we have a cracking window then we might be able to push them
We’re still pushing them now and we’re down to bare bones our strongest 11 is one of the best in the league. if we go for it in January we could have a brilliant second half of the season mixed with RLB having experienced every team and manager
That's why January is huge, always is but it feels even more important this year as there's not a lot separating the top teams Sheff utd losing Arblaster for the season is massive fir them as he's quality and they now don't quite have the depth in their squad Leeds still need a creative AM as they can struggle to break teams down, their manager lacks a plan B as well and struggles to change games that they are struggling in As I said lots of question marks in all the top teams We def need more depth in certain positions to kick on
Don’t rate Farke and never have, he’s got out of this league with top squads. I feel the same about Parker. I did have the worry with Wilder too but he seems to have changed they all are very very stubborn and if someone figures them out that’s game over. Norwich are handling Burnley very well here
We still got decent players in those windows, 2 yrs ago gelhardt and Ekwah improved us and last yr we got Mundle. Last yrs one is hard to judge because of how manager the manager situation was. Our jan windows haven't been that bad since KS has come in but this one feels so important
Would've preferred if they took a coach from one of our rivals but interesting nonetheless. Could see Wednesday really slipping down the table if this happens.
It really is incredible what he has done there, has improved every player in the squad and I love how proactive he is with his changes and tactics Outside playoff bet if he stays - I don't think they'd have enough even if he stayed for the season
Be interested to see how he’d do with money to spend, I wouldn’t back anyone to save Southampton but would fancy them to go straight back up with rohl in charge
Yeah no chance anyone is keeping them up but he will have them harder to play against and as you say they should be really strong next season which I think the Southampton board will be looking at with this appt
If Rohl goes then for me Robins is the ideal man for Wednesday, if he wants back in. It is a club that should allow some patience and should be punching at least at the top of this division. Robins would be ideal to take them there imo, and wont be daunted by following a fan favourite.
I wanted Rohl here in the summer, no idea if anyone approached SW for him but I was shocked he signed an extension there.
