    I voted other. If it's going to be a current PL centre back I'd like us to look at Alex. Samba will probably have better offers and Jagielka wont leave Everton. Stoke dont need to sell Shawcross either.

    Failing that I'm sure Carr has one or two lined up.

    I said these 3 because they have PL experience. I'm worried if we buy a CB from europe he will have to need time to adjust to the english game.

    I'd go for Samba, but I don't think he'd come. Jagielka wont leave Everton and Shawcross wont leave Stoke.

    I'd perhaps try and nag Samba, It's worth a try.

    from what i've heard, pardew indicated that they really hadnt been looking at centre backs.

    At least we have a month until the windown for carr to do some scouting <ok>

    Yeah, but these guys are going to cost loads, Samba, Shawcross and Jagielka rejected Arsenal so they will reject us

    If Samba is still at Blackburn after the January/Summer transfer windows I'll be very surprised. We'll never get him though.

    Yeah but we need an actual CB, we can't rely on fullbacks covering CB.

    We should buy Pieters for fullback and buy another CB.
