Anyone else seen these drones flying around the place. I snapped this one tonight over Kirk Ella...looks like it has a gun attached.
How and why does it seem that double decker buses hit low bridges more frequently these days? Is it the buses are getting taller or the bridges shrinking?
No,it's drivers taking unscheduled routes(if you're referring to the Glasgow incident yesterday). In which 8 people were injured, one critically.
I can only assume it's a new driver that's never driven the route before or one that couldn't read a sign clearly stating "MAX HEIGHT 12'6" . I got on a bus from Glasgow City Centre a month ago and immediately coming out of Buchanan St bus station,he took a wrong turn.I asked him where he was going....Er,Mmm,I'm not sure,I only started yesterday? I literally had to sit across from his cab and instructed him for 20 minutes and when I got off another lad took over...
That's the 2nd time that one's been hit and one just further up got hit a couple of years ago.. The railway bridge is the main line into/out of Glasgow Central so all of the trains were cancelled due to it.
Good on her and on Brazil. Over here she'd probably be up for manslaughter rather than being rightly commended.
As adverts on the television tell us not to use light switches if we smell gas, I find it useful to always have a candle ready for use in such emergencies. Mrs D Bibby, Rugby.
