Honestly mate, after the weekend I've had I WISH I had been in jail. Would have been a nicer environment
Fooking superb that. I didn’t think we were too bad in the first half just a few individual mistakes. Ballards goal was paramount with it being before half time. Superb second half by the lads. I think Patto could’ve come out and punched the ball but if he missed it and they scored he should’ve stayed. Mayenda was fouled near their box just before their free kick, from drunken memory. Haway the Lads.
Still smiling like a Cheshire cat this morning. We have a proper side. Not the finished article by any means, and perhaps that is the best thing. I can see a lot of room for improvement yet. I remain convinced we are in for a better second half of the season than first. Certainly in terms of attacking performance. Watch out the league I say.
Wow! Some harsh words there! Mind he’s saying stuff we’ve actually said about ourselves this season! Coventry fir instance!!
Watching the goals again. Great to see Dan getting everyone back to go again after the equaliser. These lot want to win. Also I love a CB like Ballard who doesnt really do big celebrations. Scores, pumps the fist, and runs back to defend
Exactly my thoughts. Proper captain. “ Ha’way lads, let’s beat these sheep shaggers” (I am, of course, not sure that’s exactly what he said, but words to that effect)
I get your point , but Riggs enthusiastic celebration for Jobes winner was as unforgettable as it was unprofessional.
Rigg picked up a lot in the second half so maybe he’s not as tired as some of us on here think. A short break may be all he needs so maybe, as a treat, his Mam can take him to Disneyland for a week where he can have some fun then come back fully refreshed.
agree with this, i want to see keepers 'ruling' the box but that was a moments hesitation and a big mistake...i have noticed after he goes down to make the save soon after, he basically stays down as if injured, just wondering if he gave his ribs a 'tweak' as he does seem to pull his arms back on the 2nd goal...doubt he would have saved it mind but i like to see players 'giving it all'.
Its not the first time lately that he has done this either , last season it was Jobe looking drained , but left on regardless. Some say its the plan to flog our players into shape and the benefits outweigh the short term side effects. I am not sure if this is correct or the right way to go, Disneyland sounds a bit drastic. .
Hard to watch for us fans but coming from behind and winning like is great for team spirit and confidence. Brilliant that yesterday. Suffering today like.
This is how a branch should be run.* Just how I did with my Mansfield Branch fifty years ago ... ... put the graft in, keep everyone interested and sub any lads who were skint that week. And, SAFC2012, I did all that without mobile phones or internet so bollocks to you From RTG. *SAFC2012 said last week: "We’re making a weekend of it. Down Friday back Sunday. We’re using all the savings / cashback earnt / delay repay refunds etc from train bookings during all the games so far to pay for this trip. Already got 50 signed up for this game. All of whom have been to every away game with us this season." SAFC2012 said today: "We certainly picked a good game to do this for. Cracking weekend and a load of our trains ended up being free due to cancellation and delays from London to Swansea on Friday evening and this morning (we still get home at the same time). We only ended up having to pay for the return journey from Newcastle to Kings Cross so we’ll have that money to use again, probably for Bristol City at Easter."
Just had this from a mate who lives near Stansted airport "The cost of Swansea away ... ... I left her in bed and said I was going for the papers"
