As some of the permanent starters don't appear to be suited for the style, I can't help thinking that the younger lads, some of whom were purchased for this style, would be a better bet tomorrow. Nothing for them to lose, either. Well, apart from the game of course!
I've always had dogs and cats for as long as I can recall. We currently have 5 cats in the house of various ages and the oldest are starting to look a bit old. Bit like the owners in all fairness..
This was the fixture that spelled the beginning of the end for Conte. Southampton were bottom of the league then too. Forster Spence Dragusin Gray Udogie Kulusevski Sarr Maddison Johnson Solanke Son
Ange has repeatedly said the team is running on fumes and some players are knackered. He could and probably should make lots of changes. I highly doubt he will though.
He's very obviously fishing for investment in January. Ordinarily I'd say he should get it, but tbh he's doing very little to justify any massive trust on the part of the owners. He's done everything possible to make Levy consider leaving it at a Ryan Nelsen on loan.
Have to wonder if Levy's got Munn drawing up a longlist already Seem to be a suspicious amount of players linked that sound like arrivals for next summer as it is
Back him with players in January (if he makes it) or sack him now if the club are thinking to hold off giving him anymore players because they’d unsure of his future. Regardless of who’s manager, the club needs at least of couple of ready made players in January
I have been advocating the requirement to make changes for weeks now, and i still think he should, but a player like Regullion has played no football for months, it would be asking a lot for him or Spence to come in and be up to speed for a premier league match, but the alternative is playing Udogie and Porro until they drop and then we would have no choice but to play the reserves any way. So damned if we do damned if we don't to a certain extent. When all is said and done Ange knew the workload and should have been ensuring that these players were getting minutes so that we didn't end up in this situation. I realise that injuries to 3 out of 4 CBs is having an impact but his decision to risk Romero and VDV last weekend back fired massively and that's on him too.
Six. They finished on 11. They also had more points at this stage than we do now. We're currently on track for 12 I think so it'll be a close run thing. Unless we sack Martin after tonight in which case I think we'll get 15-20.
So after initially thinking it was West Ham and Wolves the other day, is Southampton and Spurs the real El-Sackico?
Palace/Southampton during Zombie Week is a decent shout ...and the Wolves go and sack O'Neil about ten minutes after I posted this
Would now be a bad time to mention that we're currently W0 D0 L3 in this kit...? please log in to view this image
