Stokes is done as a test cricketer, no idea why he's over bowled himself in a dead rubber, trying to prove something? His batting has been on the wane for a long time now and let's be honest he's not a good enough captain to get in just because Iof that.

Crawley .....guy has the lowest average of any England opener to play more than 20 innings.....cricketing equivalent of Oscar at city, scored a bunch of goals in a weird purple patch, but is quite obviously not good enough or up to the task.

Embarrassing way for a test series to end, bit like City’s 8-0 loss to Wigan. Should give travelling fans their money back.

They seem to have developed a real and of term can't be arsed mentality. Same in Pakistan and same against Sri Lanka in the summer. Like City on the last day of the season for the last 20 odd years

Most away cricket teams pack in towards the end of their visit and just want to be home , those who gone to the UK do , especially silly BBC when they’ve won the series !!

Ah cricket, not my specialist subject by a long way. Interesting to hear today that the ECB are against a boycott of Afghanistan cricket. I wonder when our ladies team will be doing a tour out there.

If they're serious about promoting cricket for all, I thought they'd be all over this

And yet to be accepted as a test nation, you have to his promoting the women’s game. I’m not sure quite how that works?
I suspect it is very different to the South Africa apartheid protests though. The Taliban probably don’t give a **** what anyone else thinks or how successful they are as a sporting nation? I really aren’t sure how we can influence them?
