Global’s loss of interest in Charlton comes as a real surprise. Barely three months ago… “Everyone knows I have a personal hotline to the boardroom” () “Charlie is a personal friend” we were told, as Global & Methven went racing together. And now …it’s all over Never have so many crustaceans been eaten in vain.
Rodwell has been busted down the ranks. He now answers to Carter. It can only be a matter of time before the “by mutual consent” statement, and the pay off.
So from liking Methven so much, he's now a cowboy. Ivor is gullible or Ivor is easily bought or Ivor is thick or Methven from Eton would not speak to a foul mouthed oaf like Ivor on a day to day basis and Methven must have thought silly fat man every time he finished chats with Ivor.
Of course @Dick Plumb1 was only joking. We all know Global won't ever trust any of us again with a job on ITTV, neither would any of us want one. Dick accepted he over-reacted when you both originally fell out, and we all thought it was water under the bridge. To refer to it again seems a bit unkind. Please, let's be nice. It is the Season of Goodwill after all
Well said. It was meant as a joke to lighten the atmosphere. His reaction would suggest it isn't a figment of my imagination. I am all for burying the hatchet but it works both ways. But as you say it is the Season of goodwill. Other posters don't want to read this stuff so I think it is best to concentrate on Charlton, God help us. BTW there is no way I will be going back on ITTV. I wasn't being serious. There is as much chance of me taking over that forum as Charlton gaining promotion.
