I did go and I didn’t want to give my opinion on the turgid crap I watched. But here goes. We were slightly better than we were against Crawley and Orient. But that is a very low bar.We seem incapable of stringing two passes together. No creativity, no width, we couldn’t hold on to the ball. Kanu was awful, T Campbell wasn’t much better. It is going to be a really long slog for the rest of the season.
The club tweeted a promotion this morning, saying if you arrived at the Valley at 11.30am it was only £5 a pint You almost couldn’t make this stuff up - and we know the clown who is responsible for it. Who in their right mind wants to arrive at the Valley 3.5 hours before kick off, to save £2 on a pint of beer that tastes like flat piss anyway ?
