Chelsea playing Brentford at home, if it had been at Brentford might have been a slip, but can't see Chavs losing that one.
Deserved to win all things considered. The time wasting and a full on stop for 90 seconds during that added time and he gives us 28 seconds Officials were ****ing useless today.
Great fighting performance from us totallt dominated the match and like JK Slot won't be cautious just because we're down a man how the **** they didn't have anyone sent off is a mystery to me . Elliott and Jota both look like they have returned in good form .
Well, if I were neutral I'd have loved that game. But I'm not, so I didn't. 10 men did well, but Trent's positioning is woeful.
That'll have to do. Looks like we're having our January in December. I love Robbo and what he's done for us the last 6 years, but we need a new left back in the summer, if not in January. But hey, ho - 5 points is still a healthy lead to have at Christmas IF we drop no more points till then.
Tottenham away next in league Going to be very very tough that Tbf they all are so i am pretty much stating the obvious
Still confused how you can be sent off for denying a goal scoring opportunity when the ball goes to a player who has a shot and should score. surely you haven’t prevented anything?
Dropped points twice in a row a good challenge to see if we're really worth discussing in same breath as the title. Need to end this "slump".
A well earned point in the end. Two soft goals to give away though. Jota doing what Jota does, how we've missed him. I reckon we'd have won had he played the full game. Fulham's time wasting, falling and faking was embarrassing. Once again, atrocious refereeing, blatant penalty for taking out Gomez not even looked at. Gravenberch immense again and Trent probably the most responsible for their second. Iwobi given all the space in the world. He's terrible on the ball, Trent pins him and the through ball doesn't go through.
If we want to win the league we could do well worse than having a 3-game programme of Tottenham and West Ham away, and Leicester at home over the festive period. As we've seen today, there are unforseeables in every fixture, but all things being equal I would hope for at least 7 points from those three games, if not 9. Then start the New Year off by thumping Uniturd at home. All is good. For now.
Did you see the ref wave advantage? I have not seen a replay of that yet. If he waved a clear advantage then he cannot send anyone off. If he didn't then he can. In any event all Robertson has to do is clear it. He should known the man is there as he's moved to cut that run off.
