I get he's young and needs time but is it not worth putting Aleksic on? We're going to lose this game anyway so how much worse would he make it?
he’s basically serving an apprenticeship and learning on the job played religiously for the shop window aspect, development and because he fit this organised, shaped thing Regis is going for he has all the tools to have a fabulous career but the fact him and Bellingham in this midfield can’t make way earlier in games is getting on my nerves it’s a team game and different teams offer different challenges and changes are required
But we don't play with a 10. That's the issue. The gap between the CM and Wilson is too high. No 10 would fit as we are canny flat as a CM. But Rigg has the most licence to be creative 100.
I agree. Rigg is going to be a start but not sure he has had even a 7 out of 10 performance for 10 games or so.
He has the most license but don’t think he can do it quick enough he takes too many chances and clearly prefers small intricate play not the killer ball

If Roberts could not just blast the ball at the defender in front of him every time he gets in a crossing situation that would be nice.
