Anybody playing a completely right footed player at left back for any length of time is asking for trouble. Against Sunderland they had 3 players on Drameh's side who were all left footed trying to come inside him, which he coped well with. But the minute someone tries to go outside him, he really struggles. I'm sure opposition managers are aware of this, He is not the answer at left back, I'd give Coyle a rest and play Drameh him on the right to see how he gets on. Jacob deserves a go on the left. Also, neither fullback gets very much help from the people playing in front of them.
Jesus. Selles has had two games to turn it around. if he could do it in two games, he should be managing Manchester City not us. Anyone would think we were in the last month of the season with some of these comments.
Apart from that, what do you think of it so far? What we need is a great big melting pot Big enough to take the world and all it's got Keep it stirring for a hundred years or more And turn out coffee coloured people by the score
Omur small Mehlem small Puerta small Slater not much bigger Giles small , most in our midfield - oh dear , brushed off the ball easily One of their players nudged Slater near the end of the match and took the ball from - it was a nudge not push lean or anything Lamps did his homework we play narrow do like Boro he played his best man as wide as possible leaving Giles and Coyle exposed
Look on the bright side,we can always fire some of the ****ers out of a cannon...Or toss them. Ooohhh matron.
Kamara was cack and was rightly pulled at half time. I’m afraid Norwich have pulled a blinder with that sale as he is not even in Malcolm Eboweis league never mind the Philogene replacement we thought we were getting. I had assumed playing him out on the left was the problem but he’s just as **** on the right. The only bright spot was that Burstow looked a goal threat, but god knows why he’s been asked to play as a winger rather than as a number 10 is anyone’s guess.
He's created the last 3 goals we scored, I think that's harsh. He presses well and tracks back ok. Hopefully he can get a bit of confidence as it looks like he's going to have to be our saviour this year.
Even if we draw all of our remaining games we won’t stay up. We’re rooted to the bottom of the table having played more games than the teams above us. We need to not just start winning games, but winning regularly. After Christmas we’re going to need double the points we’ve managed in this half of the season. It doesn’t even feel like that’s capable of happening, yet people think we’re not at risk of going down. It’s crazy. We’re going to be a League 1 team next season.
He did. And it looks to me like they've let him down badly. In which case you'd expect they would be replaced. Which is why I was asking that question! Or maybe Darnborough and Kesler going was the needed change? I don't know
Guessing they were among the first, along with me, to recognise the new manager was a useless & clueless ****.
The squad we have ATM isn't good enough. We just need to limp to the window hopefully picking up a few points to keep us there or there abouts and then in Jan spending the money we have on decent re-enforcements. Fortunately for us I don't think the teams around us will be able to spend the money we can nor offer the wages...... Hopefully it'll be enough
We need to make sure we dont start getting adrift of 20th and so I think oxford are def going down Plymouth almost certainly And then last spot could be a fair few
On the plus side, time to roll out the old, 'the football league is upside down' chant from next week
It took me ages to work it out, when me dad said.. 'City are the strongest team in the league...' when we were habitually at the bottom of the table in the late 60's. Nothing changes....Utter pile of $hite then, and pretty much the same 60 odd years later.
I think Acun will overspend in January to keep us up.. then its a case of balancing the books in the summer again. Maybe not the smartest thing to do but I guess its better than going down.
