V V Up next QPR at Ashton Gate at 12:30pm Saturday 14/12/2004 I hate these early kickoffs no thought for fans home or away QPR having only lost 1 in 6 with some decent results a 2-0 away win at Cardiff and 3-0 home win against Norwich -QPR sitting 19th in the table on 21 points after beating Oxford midweek at home 2-0. This is going to be a tough game and no walk in the park-clearly QPR are scoring goals on a regular basis scoring 7 goals in their last six games. As long as we take 3 points that is all that we can ask-however it is going to be a tough game. 2-1 Bristol City
Derby 4 v Pompey 0 last night and we lost to Pompey 3-0 and lost to Derby 3-0 errrr bit concerning don't you think -QPR are scoring plenty at the moment and another side down at the bottom we play today having only lost one game in the last six. The team needs to be on their game today. If not we could see another bad result.
QPR have hit form and were our usual predictably unpredictable selves Could go either way but I’ve gone for a score draw
Struggling against the bottom sides but playing well against the top sides? Could be said for any City team under any manager since we’ve been in this division. We are Bristol City. It’s what we do.
If they decide to come at us we’ll probably win. If they sit in we’ll struggle, especially at home. Them being on form could work in our favour as they may decide to go for it.
We have to start winning home games it’s as simple as that. Otherwise we can kiss this season goodbye.
QPR are not a bad side, I’d say they are in a “false” position, they certainly aren’t a bottom half team imo
Both sides battered us if qpr do the same questions need asking of the current manager. We are no better than when Nige was here with a far far weaker set off players.
Really good, bright start from City, but a familiarity around the lack of ability to turn domination into a goal advantage. The amount of times a ball goes into the box and we don’t have anyone in and around the 6 yard box is hurting us.
Trying to watch a dodgy stream on Wetherspoons WiFi - not a great signal but from what I have managed to see we look lively and putting QPR under pressure. Good start so far.
QPR are shocking -how have they only lost 1 in 6 -what is more concerning is goals we just don’t look like we can score. January we need a goalscorer Bristol City FC
