    Roast veg is easy as anything to do yet people still insist on boiling it.

    I can't do boiled veg - apart from Broccoli. Roasted Carrots, Roasted Parsnips, Cauliflower Cheese, Sprouts finely sliced with smoked bacon. Lush

    I generally steam all my veg,apart from the very odd time I roast it....boiling it just ruins the taste:emoticon-0148-yes:

    Steamed is acceptable but I'd nearly always roast my root veg.

    But I'm not the boss of vegetables.

    We generally slow cook our "roast" beef now. Whack all your root vegs in with that. Banging.

    We sear it off in a pan before it goes in the slow cooker, comes out more like pulled beef, but the flavour is spot on.

    And I don’t really like English veg, so I boil it until it’s super soft to make it easier to gobble down.

    Sautéed carrots and sweetcorn though is something else, usually my favourite part of a meal when I make it <laugh>

    Honey on your roast veg is just different ****ing level, makes parsnips taste almost palatable and on carrots, amazing !!!!
