1-1 FT. Stupid team selection and took too long to fix it. Wasted a big opportunity and didn't get to use any youngsters from the bench, either. Postecoglou's in big trouble if we don't beat Southampton on Sunday and that's not a given, by any means.
Lucky to draw with Rangers. I’m sorry but it’s over for Ange. Disgraceful performance and poor result.
This afternoon we were told our psycho rescue cat who we've had for nearly 10 years has cat cancer. My youngest is devastated...the cat has been like soul mate of hers. She been in floods of tears all evening. I can genuinely say that game was less fun
It was always going to be an kick bollock and scramble game and with the team we put out tonight I will settle for that We have no leadership on the pitch ,we badly need it
We'll take that Forster was our player of the match again. Gray is going to be some player when he finally plays in his proper position. Thought Dragusin was very good not so much with the ball, but he was strong and the only player of ours who didn't get bullied by their approach. They should have won the game no question, but the draw probably keeps Ange in charge until after Xmas at least.
I am now leaning towards getting rid of him. I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt and give him January to (hopefully) bring in a couple of top signings but I’m just not sure his management will make the best out of them. The only thing that’s really making me wanting him to stay is that by sacking him now, the board will think the new manager can just work wonders without little backing in January. Ideal scenario for me is we offer Poch whatever he wants to ditch the Yanks and back him with £100m in January.
Points a point, tricky game as they were always going to raise their game. Should win our next two in this competition but playoff place pretty much guaranteed I reckon with 11 points.
Forster has exceeded expectations since Vicario got crocked. A few wanted him dropped to get Spence in the squad, I think he has proved his worth.
He'll be back in the market soon enough - he'd be perfect for Everton then if it comes up at some point!
Made me smile but I know that is tough with animals. I have a 19 year old cat, and going to the vet is a nervous moment. Specially for the cat.
He's been very good, for the most part, but he's still not great at playing it short. Never will be. Could easily be a solid first choice for a side that play it long, though. Rangers did that quite effectively tonight. Guardiola may have influenced the English game in a way that's virtually removed it, but it was used for decades for a reason.
Considering gray isn’t a centre back and they get literally no protection, gray and Dragusin did pretty well. Forster not proving to be as big a drop as we all thought either.
