    The cold war bit ?

    Well i grew up in the heydey of the cold war, and stories of the 'evil' and ridiculous 'reds' were a daily thing. Elements of truth exaggerated to make the ruskies look like numpties

    same thing at the moment with the Arabs/Islam etc

    Dont get me wrong the saudi's dont help themselves and some of what 'really' happens is ludicrous.

    Ah I get you now. Yeah fair point, but the media are a bunch of arseholes.

    It's propaganda mate, the same happens during any war, you can choose to believe it or not, not much chance of it stopping though!

    Islamic Sharia Law aims to impose the values of 7th Century Arabia on the modern world.

    Unless you are an Islamist yourself, I simply can't see how anyone in their right mind can support or apologise for this barbaric and backward way of life.
