There was a point in the second half with about 20 to go when they were all over the place, that is the point where a good team make them pay. Unfortunately we are not a good team and ended up paying it ourselves, I’m a bit sick of us picking up the tab…

Problem is Kalman.... we have zero pace in the team.. Burstow looks like the quickest... neither of them could catch him and he had a ball at his feet. Coyle has no pace, Giles hasn't, Slater hasn't, Mehlem hasn't. etc etc etc,...

I was thinking watching, how well we'd done to give fouls away in good places... until...

McLoughlin was well at fault, he's a bit of a liability at the moment. Pandur maybe unlucky but he can't enjoy having McLoughlin in front of him

You've admitted you hate Giles (is he shagging your Mrs) which is stopping you judging him on a level field with the other players

It's all context though innit? Slater ran his tits off for the cause tonight so he's due some leeway. Giles on the other hand...

Was Giles really that bad. We required a craphouse to come in the middle. Instead we got Mehlem.

Slater shouldn’t have tried to nick the ball. You can retreat so far, hoping a midfielder can catch him. When that’s not happening someone needs to engage him.

McLoughlin lacked awareness of where his man was. He almost ran into the North stand!

Agree with that. Not sure he’s the sort of striker Selles is looking for though, he’s not one to lead a press but is a decent finisher.

Their away form is what's keeping them out of the top 6.

I actually enjoyed that (particularly the second half).

We looked threatening at times and frustratingly Watford only really laid one glove on us and scored.

Would be interesting to see us playing like that against a bottom half side, it’ll tell us more where we are.

    Something to work with.

They are a bottom half side on away form. Never seen them play well up here, genuinely

The difference in quality we now have out wide is staggering. If Belloumi and Millar played in that we’d have won fairly comfortably. The midfield 3 played well but we won’t win many games with that front 3.
