We didn't have many chances second half , before they took the lead and started hanging on to it. We were very close to loosing a game at home too a very average side imo.

 

There are 2 quick easy improvements for RLB, dont let Roberts take any free kicks or corners, and make your subs 10 minutes earlier

I agree, we’ve had a few performances of late where the first half is a totally different showing to the second. Obviously last night then Coventry and Millwall spring to mind. Deserved to win none of those 3 imo. A draw was fair in all of them. You’d argue Preston probably deserved it more than us too at their place. WBA no denying we were the much better team.

 

Agreed. Always thought Alese was a LCB. Cirkin is miles better at full back than Aji

 

Can only assume Cirkin still isn't fully fit as Alese LCB and Cirkin LB would be so much better imo.

Yeah agreed. I didn’t think things got better when he came on. Mind, I didn’t think Alese was all that bad either, where others seem more down on his performance. Thought he was actually good going forward - particularly when Watson was there. Think the story last night was the disruption to shape and familiarity that came from the injury. Mayenda really grew into the position as the game went on but it wasn’t really a result of combination play.

 

Was borderline silent for long spells second half was almost eerie at times.

He’s absolutely spot on and always talks sense. A few games ago we had problems with chance creation, he said he’d address it and we’ve started creating more

now he’s demanding finishing. Let’s get behind him and hope for the same outcome

As long as I can remember we often seem to have a 1 good half, one poor one. All teams, bar the very best and very worse, are probably the same.

 

Don't agree with that mate. Should still be offside if it's going wide and the only player who can put it in is offside then they are offside if they put it in or let it go wide. Anything else and a team with a player offside gain an unfair advantage!
