A musical thread this week with Russell Martin's post match interview in song titles. "We were Brave" "We showed a lot of Promise" "Until we made a happy mistake " My review of the game....... (I couldn't find a song called 'we were ****') Discuss.
That pretty much sums it up. What do we expect? We gift Spurs 2 goals with Martin's suicide tactics. End up loosing 4-1. What do we want? Sorry to say but Spurs to crush us. Show the idiot yet again that our players are not good enough to play the way he wants. I ****ing hate the way Sports Republic are running our club. Dragan needs to wake the **** up, or sell up!
Russell Martin FC v Tottenham. Tottenham’s poor run come’s to an emphatic end, where their high press was to much for Russell Martin FC to handle, whom even after conceding an early goal from playing out of the back, continued with this tactic conceding a further 3 goals from exactly the same mistakes. The manager of Russell Martin FC, Russell Martin, said he was proud of his players who remained brave in trying to play the ball out of their own penalty area, and that they are so so close to getting the points their brave play deserves. He pointed to the stat of having over 50% possession and over 300 successful passes against one of the premier leagues best teams. He went on to say that if only the fans had stayed away from the game the mistakes wouldn’t have happened. He has asked the owners (who do what ever Russell Martin wants as it is Russell Martin FC after all), to please close the stadium to home fans for future matches. SR make their first statement this season, confirming that they have approved Russell Martin’s wishes. Match Report Complete.
I have literally zero interest in this game. Stupid kick off time, Martin still in the dugout, don't have TNT Sports (refuse to pay £30 a month just to watch the odd game of football). I'll be watching the NFL instead. Much more entertaining.
I will still be going. I wouldn't buy a ticket for this if I didn't already have one with my season ticket. I will still always want Saints to win. But I have no enthusiasm for the game. I will not feel much when Saints inevitably gift Spurs a goal other than resignation. I won't have any expectation or hope that we can get a result even if we take the lead at any point. About the only thing that interests me about this game is the crowd and if this is finally, finally the game for widespread discontent.
Referee: Darren England. Assistants: Neil Davies, Akil Howson. Fourth official: Sam Barrott. VAR: Paul Tierney. Assistant VAR: Richard West.
We must be due for Sulemana to pick up another injury to stop him from being sold in January, so on that basis can we simply not use him? Give Sam Amo some more time on the pitch.

Spurs think they have problems! Lol! We live in permanent misery. They know nothing of real footy suffering!
I've just remembered that there's no barrier in the concourse between the Northam and the Itchen. Might take a wander over to the centre of the itchen during the second half on Sunday
