If were going to rely on the likes of Vaughan stepping up, we will be in the conference in another couple of seasons.
Tufan was a lot like Koren in that he had the confidence to shoot from outside the box and his goals would change games. I actually think his technique is miles better than Koren’s was. Koren would shoot from 30 yards out and it would bounce and bobble a few times but still went in. Scruffy daisy cutters hit with the laces but still effective. Tufan’s shots were so clean with the inside of his boot and they’d curve and dip perfectly. His shooting technique from outside the box is probably the best I’ve seen from a City player. It wasn’t just his shooting as well. His one-touch passes and flicks were audacious and could be frustrating when they didn’t work but when they did, it would take two or three opposition players out the game in that moment and would get us up the pitch in dangerous situations where we outnumbered the opposition on the break. We massively miss him. Ömür has not been able to do anything close to what Tufan did for us and neither has Mehlem.
I never understood the Vaughan love-in....Average at best. We played him on the left when he had no left foot. I never understood that one either.

Only a very small snapshot of the bloke but if this set of sulky miserable twats can't get behind that they might as well **** off and do ****ing accounts admin at a solicitors or something
They need to run through brick walls for him, for each other and for us. Whether they will is another story. They didn’t for the last guy. Sellés seems to be a different personality to Walter so maybe they’ll respond more positively to him.
I believe if they don't he won't hesitate to make changes, could be very interesting. Clean slate for everyone, tow the line, put everything on the line or simply get the **** out of our club.
You can’t really complain if some of the players look unimpressed, they must be thinking ‘here we go again, same old’. Not defending that attitude but it’ll take more than a moderately rousing speech to change mindsets. His man management skills are going to be tested over the next few weeks. I wish him well, UTT.
TBF to him, that will have been a bit of a staged "talk" for the website etc. all the real and ultimately important stuff will happen behind closed doors
If it really was staged some of the players should have been coached in looking just a bit enthusiastic.
My turn-ups never listen to a word I say, especially the ones on the bottom of my navy blue pin-stripe suit...Bastards!
One of the few who seems to care. Shame the next time we'll see him will be in league 1, before he inevitably goes first transfer window
