I didn't see this story @Smudger603 but the violence against workers of every kind is an unacceptable epidemic now. Like many of our most recent problems (truancy for example) it has got much worse since the Pandemic. I just don't know what the solutions are. And to suggest any might stray into the realms of politics. Nothing political about lamenting a loss of common decency and the rise of senseless violence though. These things are simply evil.
Only way to stop it is tougher sentences- and when they say 10 years they do 10 years none of this letting them out having done only 2 thirds of their time - this perpetrator should rot in jail! I also believe when it’s a 100% cut and dry prosecution the death penalty should be brought back. I’m obviously still angry after watching 90 minutes of hoofball on Saturday
You live in Oz @Smudger603 ? Forgive me for not knowing that Hang on... if you live there you must be posting in the middle of the night...
Deport all convicted criminals? That's verging on political, but in such a novel way I can't see anyone actually being offended by it. Does beg the question where would you send them. Wales perhaps
Fly tipping is becoming a really serious problem in London. It boils my piss. As @ElfsborgAddick knows, I have been looking after my son’s dog over Xmas. We have a lovely park near to us. An idiot has fly tipped a huge amount of fencing and rubble and worst of all , coiled wire in the park, making it very dangerous for dogs and other animals including local cats, foxes etc. A road near to me regularly gets fly tipped with commercial waste from local restaurants, including empty vats of cooking oil. Again - dangerous, but unpunished. Yesterday in broad daylight I saw a van pull up, and two non Londoners brazenly dump a full sized restaurant oven canopy and fan unit on the pavement. Although it’s not my road, I challenged them. “We will be back in a minute to collect it boss” Needless to say, it’s still sitting there this morning. I would bring back corporal punishment and flog fly tippers on their bare backsides. You need painful and spiteful deterrents for these scumbags.
Another classic this morning. a small kid could easily get trapped in this. It’s “my stuff” right up until the point it’s “my responsibility “ to dispose of it. Then it’s the taxpayers responsibility.
I bet them dropping the stuff is miles from where they live, in their pea sized minds they will think they cannot get caught. I would have taken a note of their registration plate, although the motor was probably stolen, and recorded the drop and gone to the local cop shop.
Absolutely disgraceful, it is easy enough to find the relevant places to drop this stuff. The country is f*****.
Totally agree - had my wife’s nephew over from Portugal - I was totally ashamed of the amount of rubbish left on the floor everywhere. Shows total lack of respect for the environment and others
Allowing for @Likey to come out with a 'witty' comment, in many ways the UK is not as clean as here in Brazil.
It’s a tribute to a famous WUM. “Fans are morons,,,,,,,ref useless ten clear penalties ,,,,,,brilliant owner and players whats not to likey ,,,,,,”
