There are a couple lingering on 4 Yellows I think including Chester. Anyone know how the rest of the team stands and what date are they quashed?
According to the FL website (don't know if it includes today or not): 5 - McKenna, McLean 4 - Chester 3 - Rosenior, Evans 2 - Koren, Hobbs, Dudgeon, Fryatt 1 - Dawson, Pusic, Cairney, Adebola, Brady + Brady 1 red card Suspensions are: 1 games after 5 yellow cards* 2 games after 10 yellow card** 3 games after 15 yellow cards etc The one to remember is that if you start a game on 4 yellow cards and then get sent off for two yellow cards you don't get a two game ban, you get a one game ban for the red card, but you come back on 4 yellow cards still. Lee Cook when he got sent off at the KC for 2 yellows was in that position. Their manager wasn't pleased about the 2nd one because it meant instead of coming back from the one game suspension 5 cards away from another one he came back one card away from the next ban. As at 2009/10 each suspension has a £15 fine. (what a deterrent?) *That one gets dropped at the end of February. If you get a 5th booking after that you just get given a warning about it. **That one gets dropped after the second Sunday in April. If you get a 10th booking after that point you get a severe warning.
I always thought the club got fined £200 per yellow card. Still, that would hardly be a deterrent either.
CHESTER IS NEXT IN LINE FOR A SUSPENSION ON 4 YELLOWS. Now do Hull City get him to make it five against Birmingham weds so that he misses Coventry away, or @ Coventry so that Chester misses the Millwall home game ? Surely we need Chester back before the Xmas period.? Thoughts guys.
I think that list might be wrong, I'm pretty sure Rosenior is also on four(TWS, Posh, Florist and Derby).
It might be better if he gets suspended for one of those games, would remove the dilema about whether or not he needs resting in the rush of games. Best case would be for him to miss the FA Cup game.
