<laugh> So you invade every team's board with ****e aswell? No, you don't.

This game meant a lot to the Hull fans given their hype. Hardly a word has been said all week on these boards while yours have been constantly updating with photos of Pearson with money ect.

    Seen it again.

Hadn't noticed before but the ball is in Kasper's hands when Mills sticks a foot out. Penalty yes. Red card? Nope.

Can't be a goalscoring opportunity when its in the Keepers hands, can it?

I like how the subject has changed to Leicester having higher attendance figures than Hull. The score (what matters) was 2-1 and will be everyone's most recent memory regarding these 2 clubs until March, nothing will change that, just accept it and sit. Most people like to generalise club supporters and being a sore loser gives a bad reputation to the others.

No offence to Leicester fans who aren't crying about it.

I think you'll find it's Cheshireben who was debating away attendances. I only replied.

2-1 loss and to not concede while down to ten men for 60 odd minutes isn't a bad result at all. But, like I said, I expect you to drop off.

I already said that I think Southampton will drop off and was laughed at for that. Theres a long way to go, yet. But I fully expect Leicester to be in the top 6 challenging West Ham and Birmingham for autos <ok>

I think your eyesight is out there! I've just paused the incident and McLean is kicked before it reaches the keeper.

Also kicking another player is a red card anyway.

It's a clear red card. You should have no complaints with that. Poor defending.

Hull fans was crap. Didnt sing until they scored. They was signing theres only 1 greedy bastard but we drowned them out with theres only 1 Nigel Pearson.

Cant fault any of the Leicester players all gave their all but the extra man was the difference

    Funny things, ground acoustics.

Apart from the usual quiet period just before half time, when our people start queuing for ale we forgot you were there. I doubt we'd have got even that bit were it not for the goal waking you up.

Good numbers, poor support from Leicester.

As for the extra man, if Pearson had any confidence in the players, he could have just had one less up front instead of being boringly defensive. He was noted for caution, but I've never seen him that bad with us.

    Why would you be interested?

The ball is out of McLean's control and virtually in the keepers hands after McLean was fouled.

A trip has never been a red card unless its a goalscoring opportunity and that wasn't.

I can tell you that when the Hull fans were singing from the 30th minute to the 41st they sounded like they had just won the league. Likewise from the 87th minute after.

But I can also tell you that inbetween I couldn't hear you at all and I heard our support singing loud.

You are all here saying that 'you don't care' but I have never seen fans go bonkers like that in a game that isn't even a remote rivalry <laugh>

P.S. I watched this on a stream so there were microphones situated throughout the ground <ok>

It was a foul and a penalty, whether it's a red card is debatable. If the offense is denying a goal scoring opportunity, I reckon being awarded a penalty balances that, a sending off seems a double punishment. However, the player should be bright enough to know the rules and not make such a stupid and needless challenge after he'd done the hard bit.

    <applause> Finally, a well reasoned response <ok>

He shouldn't have done it and it was definitely a penalty, but never a red card.

The microphones are placed well away from the home fans and much nearer away fans and you were still muted. TV coverage is a poor way to judge events as it's like watching through a letter box. You're stuck with the directors view.

The bit about the 'rivalry' has been done to death. Most are grateful for were Nige got us, some don't like the way he left. Me, I don't blame him for taking the money. He must feel a bit pissed off that the board squabbled over loose change instead of making a bold statement about their third/fourth choice gaffer.

The general feeling is that, after Nige did a fantastic job of stabilising us through difficult times, we're happy to give Nick a chance to move us in a more exciting style. It may fail, it may work, but it'll be a laugh trying.

The exuberance was more for Nick and the new style team than NP.

Well its hardly a bad way is it? You have microphones situated all through the ground which pick up the sound. Which is why when the whole Hull end sing it sounded very impressive (like you'd won the league).

Can anybody realise that its not just the money that Pearson left Hull for?

He loves this club and hated Lee Hoos and Milan Mandaric who forced him out. He wants to get us promoted and with the club ambition it'll be something he'll relish.

Don't delude yourself into thinking that he's only left you for money because he clearly hasn't

It's laughable that you can debate the atmosphere of a game that you didn't even attend.

Tell us AKCJ, what was the surface of the moon like?

I'm not debating atmosphere you thick ****.

Im giving my side of it and saying that through the live stream (and the Football League show) all I could hear was Leicester fans.

If you can't grasp that then its a wonder how you have found your way onto this website. You probably had to spell check your username <laugh>

What a boring argument this could be. I'll say it again. The microphones are positioned away from the home fans and near to the away fans. If we drowned Leicester out on the feed, it can only mean we were very loud and Leicester very quiet.

As for his leaving, like my local knowledge means I know more about KC acoustics than you, I'd guess your knowledge of his motives should be better than mine, but it's documented somewhere that Mandaric encouraged him on at the request of the proposed (and now current) owners. He does seem happier at Leicester, I'll give you that. Which makes it interesting it took so much to drag him away from here.

At the end of the day, some people here are unhappy because they feel he lied and is a hypocrite, I've never know such a realsitic, yet optimistic mood about this City since the appointment of Nick Barmby though. The players and fans all seem to be lifted as though a blockage has been cleared. Watching that negative display by Leicester was quite cathartic for many.

You're all happy to have your gaffer, we've got a local hero, Nige is set for life, all's right with the world.

    ONWARDS.
